Open eyes Meditation

I thought I’d share  something a little different with you guys today. For the past 2 weeks I’ve been posting videos on my personal and business Facebook page and I’ve been getting great feedback. It seems many of you like to hear and see who’s behind the words at Life by Eloise. I think that’s amazing. And your feedback has encouraged me to keep making these videos.

So I thought I’d share this videos with you here as well since some of you may not be following me yet on Facebook (although it would be great if you did. Hint 😉

Today’s video is about open eyes meditation.

I’ve spoken about this type of practice in my previous post, as I find it is a great alternative to traditional meditation. Open eyes meditation is very useful when you are just starting out on your meditation journey and your mind is having a hard time grasping the concept of “stillness”.

It is also very useful when you are pressed for time and not in a position to just squat down and meditate but still need that sense of calmness and that deeper connection that comes from centering yourself through meditation.

Let’s face it, meditation is popular because it works but you shouldn’t feel like it’s out of your reach because you’re schedule is incredibly busy. You need to make it work for you within the perimeters of your life.

And this is where this type of meditation comes in.

I explain in greater details how to implement open eyes meditation in this video.

P.S. As mentioned don’t in the caption of this video on Facebook, don’t mind the flat/bad hair or funky sunglasses (my Golden Retriever puppy chewed through my last 3 pairs so I’m rockin’ my husband’s decade old sunglasses!). This is just me, early morning, unedited, sharing with you something I care deeply about: your wellbeing. Getting you centered and more connected to consequently feel happier and be more productive in just a few minutes a day.
